Eri Nox was born to white middle-class Californian suburbanites, gay-raised by New York West Village power lesbians, schooled by The New School and Brooklyn College in playwriting, and works in theatrical media which explores immersive narrative and non-traditional world building. Ze has or is currently developing work in New York at LaMama ETC, The Public Theater, Dixon Place, and Theater Breaking Through Barriers, among others, and in Edinburgh (FEST Magazine described Nox's electro-dance opera of TS Eliot's 'The Waste Land' as "weirdly compelling"), Warsaw (as guest artist at the Drama Laboratory of Teatr Dramatyczny), Paris (Business Lunch Productions), and in San Francisco and LA.
