PLAYMACHINE is a non-profit arts collective dedicated to technological innovation in theatrical experiences which explore futures civically and humanistically.
To us, 'theatrical experiences' encompasses traditional forms of theater and expands to include new media such as VR, AR, and digital programming as well as innovations at the intersection of performance and LARPing, video games, and other 21st Century forms of interactive storytelling art and entertainment.
'Exploring futures' is our pursuit of understanding our contemporary society, its history, and where it is going through art and expression, diverse in its voices but singular in its vision for a better tomorrow.
